Special thank you to all the restaurants, hotels and countless individuals who live, work and play in Uptown Charlotte for being such a gracious host during ACN’s International Training Event this past weekend.
ACN hosts one to two International Training Events in Charlotte annually. During these three-day events, attendees from all around the world pack the Time Warner Cable Arena, hotels, restaurants and area businesses, which brings up to $6 million into the Charlotte economy every event, every time.
The Kids and the Clown
At every Charlotte event, and at each of our events worldwide, ACN collects donations from attendees for the Ronald McDonald House and then matches those donations dollar for dollar, presenting a check to the local House live from stage on Sunday at the close of every event. In addition, ACN made significant contributions locally to open the doors of the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte in 2010. To date, ACN has raised more than $3 Million globally for Ronald McDonald House Charities, with a substantial amount staying right here at home with the Charlotte House.
ACN also hosts an annual Celebrity Golf Tournament in which 100% of the proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte. The 2015 tournament raised an incredible $287,560.
A Culture of Giving Back

In addition to the Ronald McDonald House, ACN supports more than 50 local organizations as well as a long and ever-growing list of organizations on a global scale, with our efforts concentrated on those directly impacting children. After working with so many incredible organizations, it became clear that there was still so much left to do – and that we could make an even greater impact. And so, ACN’s Project Feeding Kids Program was born – our own organization committed to helping end childhood hunger in North America. Through ACN’s Project Feeding Kids program, every time someone becomes an ACN customer, a child right here at home gets fed. And every time someone pays their select ACN bills each month, another child gets fed. Learn more about this incredible program.
